Dinner Date

Synopsis: A short non-dialog film about a woman who lures unsuspecting men with her beauty out for a dinner date. The problem is "What's for dinner?"
The footage was shot originally on 16mm film on a Bell & Howell old school film camera. It was transferred digitally and edited in Premiere Pro. I wrote the Screenplay, was one of the Producers, Casting Director and Production/Set Designer in charge of props.
My vision as a screenwriter was fulfilled when Director Isis Saucedo kept to my original script. Matt Thompson was Cinematographer, Musical Composer and Editor. Yuki Huang, camera. Actors included Erica Nickel -lead Actress and Travis Osborne -victim.

The Interview

A crazy comedy film I helped produce in my lighting class. The lighting was setup to depict a mood and emphasize each characters persona.
Synopsis: Disney was approached by the Devil to help make more money by adding puppy porn to their organization. An employee whistleblower is interviewed to let the world know of Disney and the Devil's evil plans. The Archangel Michael finds out and is not having it and intervenes to stop the Devil in his tracks. The Evil Villain, Chief Public Relations Officer for Disney Corp. sets up a press conference to justify Disney's actions and assures the world the puppies are over 2 years old.

'Stalker' an Indie Film by Joann Perez-Moya

Here's a film project where I was the Director, Producer and Editor. Original concept came from Elijah Espinoza, together we developed the story further. Original musical score by Alejandro Arreola.

We shot the first day until 4:00am in the morning. 2 weeks later we reshot one scene. Most valuable lessons I learned from this project was Sound Design and to dress warm :)
Stalker Movie Poster. In Film Festivals now.
